The Internet is a huge place and there are millions of web sites that a person could visit. Many people have web sites that they check often such a weekly or daily. If The Onion is not one of them for you, you should change that. The Onion is by far, (in my opinion), the funniest, entertaining, well written web site out there. It will change your life.

The Onion a web site dedicated to providing the best coverage of all the news stories around the Nation, however satirical it may be. No, it is not “real” news, but what is these days?

I do use the Internet often, so it is easy for me to check The Onion on my computer. I currently have subscribed to only 2 blogs with my Kindle, and The Onion is one of them.

Here is what The Onion is all about

  • The web address: www.TheOnion.com
  • 710,000 Weekly Print Circulation
  • Founded in 1756, however some speculate that it really was 1988
  • Updated daily, large amount of updates on Tuesdays
  • The Amazon Kindle version offers a 14 day free trial, afterwards it is $1.99/month

Amazon Description

Often mistaken for real journalism, The Onion features fact-based, fictional parodies about national and international news. A non-satirical entertainment section covering all aspects of the industry is offered, plus information, critique, and commentary about media and the arts.
