You Can Actually See and Touch a Kindle Before Buying It

Written by Kindle Tank on May 22, 2009 One Comment

image Since you can only buy an Amazon Kindle online from Amazon.com, many people are hesitant because they really haven’t had the chance to see and hold it in their hands. The whole purpose of the Kindle is to read books with, meaning that you will probably be holding it in your hands for extended amounts of time.  Therefore, who wouldn’t want to get up close to a Kindle before throwing down a considerable amount of cash?

Sure, buying electronics and everything else online is becoming more and more popular. However, many people still enjoy the tactile feel of shopping at a brick and mortar store where they can be more hands on.  This is one of the strongest reluctances people have about buying a Kindle.

Well Amazon has identified this issue and have worked hard to make amends.  Amazon has setup a sort of forum where current Kindle users can say something like, “Hey, I have Kindle, want to check it out?”, or “I love my Kindle and want to spread the word”.

I thought this was a really cool idea. So check it out, the link is below. Have fun!

I am interested in the Kindle – we live in Dunedin, Florida, but I would like to see the Kindle in person – see how it works, and see how it feels in our hands. Let me know when it is available in our area. Thank you.
